FYI, This is just a tentative About Us and Mission section. Club members will determine almost everything about the club. However, there are some things that won't change. The club is and will be forever free to join and there are no club dues or fees. With that said, you may have to pay to get into a facility, such as a state park, you may want to buy a snack, or you may want to tip a model. But no money will be taken in by the club for the club. Generally Speaking:
The Horry County Photography Club's mission is to provide local photographers, whether professional or just photography lovers, an outlet for learning, discovery, and most importantly, fun. If you are a professional, we promise not to tie you down and make you divulge trade secrets. If you are a hobbyist, we promise not to talk in photography tongues you don't understand. And most importantly, we will stress self expression. There is no one way to do anything. The last thing we would want from this photography club is conformity.

Who can join?
Anyone who loves photography.
What equipment should I own?
No equipment is required to partake in club activities. With that said, equipment that may enhance your club experience includes Single Lens Reflex (SLR) cameras, camera flash systems, whether on camera or, even better, off camera, and maybe a reflector or two. If you're like most photographers, you just can't get enough equipment.
